Romance at the Winchester Country Club

Updated: Jun 8, 2019

We're swooning… from the white and soft blush pink florals dripping with wispy muted gray-green eucalyptus leaves, to a wedding arch worthy of the majestic view it frames, to the most adorable wagon puller/ring bearer we've ever seen (yes, you read that right) – not to mention the floral adorned wagon itself – Megan and Franco's romantic wedding is what dreams are made of. Tucked in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just 45 miles north of Sacramento, Winchester Country Club was the picturesque setting for Megan and Franco outdoor wedding that was filled with love, beauty and pure romance. A huge thank you to Liz Zimbelman Photography for these gorgeous photos.

Bride with bouquet

The bride's bouquet was composed of white peony, blush pink and white garden rose varieties, ranunculus, and three types of eucalyptus: seeded, silver dollar and willow.

The mother-of-the-bride wore a lovely wrist corsage of white ranunculus and small blush pink rosebuds accented with willow eucalyptus leaves.

The entrance to the ceremony was defined with large floral arrangements of hydrangea, roses, peony, football mums, eucalyptus and olive greens, perched atop a wooden column.

With breathtaking panoramic scenery and a championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr., it only made sense to frame the gorgeous view with a wooden arbor, draped with billowing white fabric, and adorned with large floral arrangements.

Wagon for flower girl

To decorate the flower girl wagon we used the same florals as in bouquet and added football mums. This softened the wooden wagon and matched all the other florals in the wedding. What a sweet ride!

The reception florals featured romantic table runners made of flowers and greenery which provided an eye-catching accent to the crisp all-white decor.
