Chelsey and Scott’s stylish wedding at High Hand Nursery was simply stunning. Romantic-vintage-rustic in theme, the color palette featured deep rich purples and reds. The florals consisted of black magic and bacarra red roses (a very deep red…almost black), aubergine calla lilies, deep chocolate dahlia, chocolate dahlia, dark uluhe (fern frond), deep purple lisianthus and stock, and dark blue berries. Drama and texture were added with curly willow, seeded eucalyptus, hanging amaranths and feathers! Not only did the bride wear a fabulous feather shrug, but she carried long plumes in her bouquet: black and tan pheasant and ostrich feathers. The feathers continued in the centerpieces, with some tables featuring mossy small wooden logs adorned with flowers. Romance was heighten by candle light on all the tables.
